Egg Egg 1.6

Egg Editor's Review

'Egg' is a timer; actually is a quad timer - this means that you can run simultaneously four times in the same window. Although the producer claims that this is very useful, I find very little use for it. When I first opened the program, I looked for the options. I was only able to find them, when I resized the window.

After that, I discovered that there are a few features available there. You can set up-to-four panels each one with its own counter. To see which panel is active, you need to look for the star in the top left corner of the panel. I find it rather difficult to work with it, because each time I selected a panel a window popped up with 12 predefined amounts of time.

I soon discovered that if you have three or four panels and you want to select one by clicking in the lower half, it selects the lower panel. You can even set time in days for this program. Up to 50 days, but I tried closing the program after selecting 49 days. When I reopened the program, the counter was restarted. The 'Chess' feature could be useful, when you play a chess game.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: It's bit difficult to configure and use.

In conclusion: I would rather use the reminder from my cell phone than use this program.
